Demiana and her son were spending a month at her father's house, as he had returned to Egypt for a month-long vacation.

On March 24, 2025, Demiana returned home, where she had breakfast with her husband at their home, prepared several meals for him, and then left for her father's house, where she left her child.

Demiana took a tuk-tuk (motorized vehicle) and was kidnapped. All contact with her phone was lost.

Demiana has a child who is about a year and a half old. She gave birth to him after numerous visits to doctors. She had been trying to conceive for about four years and was overjoyed when God blessed her with a son, Guirgis.
