The Egyptian national security arrested the Christian man Mr. Wael Kirillos (about forty years old) after the national security fabricated false charges against him of joining a terrorist group and promoting false news.

Mr. Wael Kirillos has been missing since December 21, 2024, until his friends found out on January 12, 2025 that he was arrested and imprisoned by the Egyptian national security after the Egyptian national security fabricated false charges against him of joining a terrorist group and promoting false news in order to put him in prison just because he is a Christian.

During the court hearing on January 13, 2025, Mr. Wael Kirillos said publicly that he was being persecuted inside the national security headquarters and demanded to meet with a representative of the evangelical church, especially that he was not dealing with any radical Islamist current such as the Muslims Brotherhood and Salafists.

The only mistake of the Christian Mr. Wael Kirillos is that he teaches the Coptic language to Egyptian Coptic Christians.
